Orbis Plane Pull for Sight 2015

Today, I got the chance to particpate in the Orbis’ Plane Pull for Sight for a second year in a row!

If you didn’t catch my post last year, or if you didn’t know already, this is a fundraiser where the goal is to raise money for their Kids Sight Centre program, which benefits blind and visually impaired children throughout the developing world. ORBIS is an organization with a flying hospital. They perform lazer eye surgery on their customized plane all around the world. They have also have a classroom to fit 48 people, full surgical suite, laser room and more. To learn more, visit their website at http://www.orbis.org/ !

We were pulling a 757 plane on the FedEx Apron at Toronto Pearson Airport! It’s something you don’t really get to experience everyday. So if you ever get the chance to do this, do it!

Also, check out my vlog at the end of the post!

We got to check out the cockpit of the two planes that were there!

Every team was super energetic and cheering each other on!

Look at that guy go, taking his selfie while the rest of his team pulls.
